Welcome to Welham Bowling Club
Welham Bowling Club offers lawn green bowls at a charming location in Norton-on-Derwent just yards from Malton railway station. The ‘twin towns’ of Malton and Norton are separated by the River Derwent and are located midway between the cities of York and Scarborough in North Yorkshire.
In summer the club offers the opportunity for social bowling plus participating in the Batagas Triples league playing against other local clubs in the Ryedale area.
Bowls can be played as a pleasant social activity in which company and conversation are the prime aim. Or, it can be played as a more serious sport where playing well and competitively are important. It is suitable for all ages.
